Slime friend

A free pattern by GhostieOllieCrochet

For the reference picture I used ICE baby chenille yarn and a 6.0 mm hook.

Different yarn and hooksizes will lead to a differently sized friend!

Terms and abbreviations used:

Mc – Magic Circle

Sc – Single Crochet
Inc/Dec- Increase/Decrease

Chain

Slipstitch

These are the american terms

I used apple green and white, but you can make your slime in any colours you want!

Body

I use the technique of moving where the increase is to make the plush more evenly round. If this is hard to read, or messes up your counting I will add the “normal” version next to it.

Round one:

Mc 6, slipstitch into the first stitch

The long one:

Chain 7

Sc 5, inc, sc 5 on the other side as well

Sew your sparkly bits on above the face on either side

**if youre working with a thin yarn and small hooksize it might look better to embroider your sparkle bits instead, in this case you can just double up your yarn and embroider one short and one long line for the same look.
