Pumpkin Earring/Keychain

A free pattern by GhostieOllieCrochet

I used Ricorumi cotton yarn and a 3.5mm hook. Different yarns and hooksizes will create different pumpkin sizes. Make sure to go 0.5-1mm down from the recommended size on the label.

Terms and abbreviations used:
Mc – Magic Circle
Sc – Single Crochet
Hdc – Half Double Crochet
Dc – Double Crochet
C1,C2,C3 – Colour 1,2,3
Slip Stitch and sewing/embroidery

These are the American terms
This pattern uses 3 colours
1 – orange
2 – green
3 – brown

Base C1 (make 2)

1. Mc, chain one, DC*9 slip stitch into the first DC (9)

2. DC increase *4, slip stitch, DC increase*4, slip stitch closed

Leaf C2

chain 5, slip stitch in 2nd chain from hook, HDC and DC into one stitch, DC, slip stitch into last chain and close off

Stem C3

chain 4, sc into 2nd chain from the hook, slip stitch 2 and close off.

Sew the stem and leaf into the base, attach a keychain or earring piece to the orange end from closing off a base if wanted, sew the second base onto the first to cover up the ends.
