Baby Cthulhu

Materials:
I made my cthulhu using ICE chenille yarn and a 6mm hook. Different yarn and hooksizes will change the size of your cthulhu
Safety eyes or scrap yarn to embroider eyes
Stuffing
Darning needle
Scissors
Stich marker or scrap yarn for marking end of round

Magic circle
Chain
Single crochet (SC)
Half double crochet (HDC)
Double Crochet (DC)
Increase (INC)
(Invisible) decrease (DEC)
Sewing
Tentacle:
When [Tent] is written in the head pattern do this:
Chain 11 Place 3HDC in the 2nd chain from the hook, 1HDC in the next, 2HDC in the one after that, then HDC down the rest of the chain
Head:

4.[2SC INC*]6 (24)
5.[ 3SC INC]*6 (30)
6-8.SC around (3 rounds)
9.5SC Tent, 2SC, Tent, 2SC, Tent, 21SC
10.4SC Tent, 2SC, Tent, 2SC, Tent, 2SC, Tent, 20SC
11. [3SC DEC]*6 (24)
12. [2SC DEC]*6 (18)
13. [SC DEC]*6 (12)
Fasten off
Place eyes next to upper tentacles between row 8 and 9
Body:
1.MC 6
2.INC*6 (12)
3.[SC INC]*6 (18)
4.[2SC INC*]6 (24)
5-7. SC around
8. [2SC DEC]*6 (18)
9-10. SC around
12. [SC DEC]*6 (12)
Fasten off, leave long tail for sewing
Stuff head and body and sew together
