I made my goblin using ICE chenille yarn and a 6mm hook. Different yarn and hooksizes will change the size of your goblin

Main colour (less than a full skein)

Safety eyes or scrap yarn to embroider eyes

Stich marker or scrap yarn for marking end of round

Sewing

Very simple embroidery

Ears (x2):

Arms (x2):

1. 4 sc in a magic circle (4)

2. inc*4 (8)

3.-7. sc 8 (5 rows)

fasten off leave tail for sewing

Legs (x2) and body

1. sc 5 in a magic cirlce

2. inc*5 (10)

3.-6. sc 10 (4 rows)

fasten off one leg

Use the tail of the first leg to sew the legs together for 4 stitches. No longer count the sewn stitches for your row

7. sc around the legs, you should end up with 16 stitches, if not go back and add one between the legs or increase at the hips

for a tall goblin (nice in acrylic or cotton yarns)

fasten off leave tail for sewing

Assembling your goblin friend

Use the tail from the body to attach the head, be mindful of where the face goes

Use the tail to sew the ears closed flat, attach the ears on the back of the head, play around with positioning to express different emotions on your goblin

I didn’t stuff the arms, but you could if you want them more firm. Use the tail to sew the arms closed flat and attach in the crease between the head and body
