Strawberry Mouse Pattern

A free pattern by GhostieOllieCrochet

You can find a video tutorial for this pattern on my youtube channel

Materials:

3 colours of yarn, for a proper strawberry look I would use yellow, green and red/pink. I used ICE baby chenille and a 6mm hook and the mice fit in the palm of my hand, different yarns/hooks will make a differently sized mouse.

I used 10mm safety eyes, you can use bigger or smaller safety eyes, buttons, beads or embroider on the eyes like the seeds.

A tapestry needle for the sewing and embroidering the seeds.

Some kind of stuffing, the mice are small and take well to using your scrap yarn for most of the stuffing <3

Stitch marker and scissors

You’ll need these skills:

Magic circle

Chain

Single crochet (SC)

Half double crochet (HDC)

Double Crochet (DC)

Slip stitch

Increase (INC)

(Invisible) decrease (DEC)

Sewing and very simple embroidery

The ears are crocheted into the mice, if this is a technique that is unfamiliar or confusing, they can be sewn in later on, leave longer tails and place them between rows 5 and 6, 4 stitches appart, if you chose this.
